Pip Stephens is an Auckland based Photographer currently in her final year of a Bachelor of Fine Arts at Whitecliffe College of Arts & Design.  Originally from Plymouth, England, Pip immigrated to New Zealand with her family in 2005. After graduating from high school in 2012 Pip spent several years traveling before returning to New Zealand to pursue a passion for art and photography.  

 

Influenced from her travels Pip’s work explores the relationships between people and their environment with a current focus on psycho-geography and the act of wandering. Still in the stages of developing her personal style, Pip has used a minimalist approach to convey her ideas through abstract, street and landscape photography.
